Jill has received numerous awards, including being named one of the “Top 10 Real Estate Agents in Boulder” and one of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents.” She is also the recipient of BizWest’s “Top 40 Under 40 Business Leaders” and Colorado Senior Lobby’s “Serving our Seniors Award.” Jill is currently one of Boulder’s Housing Commissioners and a research assistant for the University of Colorado’s Boulder Affordable Housing Research Initiative (BAHRI). She also serves as the Chairwoman of Congressman Joe Neguse’s Small Business Advisory Council, on the CU Center for Leadership Board of Directors, and as a member of the Sierra Club Political Committee.

In 2017, Jill was elected as Boulder’s first-ever openly LGBTQ City Council member. When Joe Neguse was elected to Congress in 2019, Jill took a break from real estate to become his first Director of Community Affairs. During her three years in that role, Jill helped build an award-winning outreach program before returning to graduate school. Jill’s master’s thesis focuses on housing affordability challenges and opportunities in Boulder.
