Laurie Kaufman

Laurie Kaufman

/ / resourceful. conscientious. caring.

Originally from the Midwest (and a passionate Cubs fan to prove it), Laurie Kaufman began her career in real estate over 25 years ago when she purchased her first investment property — a fourplex in Downtown Boulder. Laurie self-manages her investment properties and uses her personal experience to educate her clients on the value of home ownership to diversify their financial portfolios. Laurie’s twenty-plus years in real estate provide her clients peace of mind, expert guidance and the kind of partnership that feels like working with a close friend.

Laurie’s educational background with a Master’s degree in Counseling provides her the foundation needed to understand and support her clients during what is an exciting yet stressful life stage — buying and/or selling a house. Her natural ability to relate and understand her client’s needs truly makes her unique to the industry. This, paired with her insider perspective, is invaluable to buyers and sellers alike. Her longevity in the industry based on a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor in the real estate community. Her primary role is to provide solid professional counsel to her clients with one of their greatest assets — real estate.

Personally, Laurie loves the energy and excitement living in the vibrant college town has to offer. One of her favorite pastimes is rooting on the CU Buffs and watching Ralphie storm Folsom field before kick-off. Laurie spends her spare time hiking the gorgeous Boulder County open space with her feisty long-haired Dachshund, Pedro, or taking in an independent film at The Boe Theater.

client love

Laurie was amazing to work with. She always had our best interest in mind and was patient and understanding. She is all about making a stressful sales process as smooth as possible while staying in constant contact with us. She took care of every detail and was available 24/7 to answer questions. I was so impressed with how well she and the buyer’s agent worked together. I attribute this to her partnership approach. This team approach was key to making the sale go through quickly and resulted in happy sellers and buyers. Thank you, Laurie! I will sing your praises to everyone.

Laurie helped me sell my home, and I really can’t imagine a better agent than her. She absolutely went above and beyond with every step of the selling process, from guiding me in how to fix up my home to get it in selling condition, to all the energy and attention to detail she put into staging, and finally, to negotiating with the buyer to get me everything I wanted, including a price I was very happy with. She provided so much extra service and guidance than I expected in an agent. Throughout this process I was able to see how Laurie handled different situations that came up, and I was always so impressed with her people skills and her solution-oriented way of dealing with things. A bonus to working with her is that she is a really great person to get to know. She truly cares about people (and animals) and is just a lot of fun to work with. It is so obvious that she loves what she does, and that she has her clients’ best interests at heart.
